We are talking about Celeste Espino, who joined the Rebaño Sagrado at the age of 14 and continues to write an enviable story with Guadalajara, as on this day in 2020, she made her official debut as goalkeeper for Chivas Femenil.

We have to go back to Matchday 4 of Guard1anes 2020, when the Rojiblancas hosted Mazatlán at the AKRON Stadium, with a crushing pace in the Liga MX Femenil. In the 62nd minute of play, the score was already 5-0 in favor of the home team, so a few moments later, it was time for the young goalkeeper to make her debut.

With 69 minutes on the clock, the fourth official raised the electronic board indicating Blanca's departure and Celeste's entry, who at 17 years old fulfilled every soccer player's dream. Espino had 21 minutes to show her skills, keeping a clean sheet and helping Chiverío secure three more points at the start of the championship.

Celeste's story did not end there, as she has been an example of hard work, patience, and resilience.
