Flamengo confirm Pulgar shoulder injury, midfielder undergoing treatment

Flamengo face Santos on Sunday (05) in the Campeonato Brasileiro but will be without Erick Pulgar, who is suspended and has a right shoulder injury.

The club said in a statement that the Chilean has an acromioclavicular joint injury in his right shoulder and is receiving treatment with the medical department.

Pulgar would not have featured regardless, having been sent off against Red Bull Bragantino on Thursday (02), which means he must serve an automatic suspension.

Flamengo open their Copa Libertadores campaign on Wednesday (08) away to Cusco (PER), with Pulgar continuing treatment with a view to upcoming fixtures.

The match is scheduled for 17:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã in the 10th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
