Flamengo visit Athletico-PR for the Campeonato Brasileiro’s 16th round with seven players out and four at risk of suspension.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Erick Pulgar is treating an acromioclavicular joint injury to his right shoulder, and Arrascaeta is recovering after surgery to repair a fractured clavicle. Gonzalo Plata has a knee trauma and did not travel to Curitiba with the squad.

De La Cruz has been left out because of the Arena da Baixada’s synthetic surface. Luiz Araújo has been given leave for personal matters. Jorginho and Evertton Araújo are suspended after yellow card accumulation.

Four players, Varela, Léo Pereira, Samuel Lino and Everton Cebolinha, are on two bookings. A further yellow would rule them out of round 17 against Palmeiras.

Kick-off is at 19:30 Brasília time on Sunday 17 at the Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Paraná. The game will be live on Premiere pay-per-view and on SporTV.
