Flamengo ‘have offered’ 25 million euros for Breno Bidon as Corinthians hand him No 7 | OneFootball

Rádio Itatiaia reports that Flamengo have offered 25 million euros, R$ 156.2 million, for Corinthians midfielder Breno Bidon, as the São Paulo club move to keep the 20-year-old by handing him the No 7 shirt.

The figure sits well below the 60 million euros, R$ 375 million, release clause in his current deal, which, along with the shirt gesture, could help keep him at the club.

Bidon features on Flamengo’s list of targets but he is not a priority, with the playmaker role already occupied by Arrascaeta and Jorge Carrascal.

It is considered unlikely that Flamengo will raise their offer. The picture resembles that of Thiago Almada, who remains on their radar but, given the likely outlay, is not treated as first choice.

Bidon broke through further in 2025, making 56 appearances. He drew headlines in the Copa do Brasil final second leg at the Maracanã, flicking the ball over Vasco’s Cauan Barros to launch a counter that ended with Memphis Depay scoring from Yuri Alberto’s pass. Corinthians won 2-1 and lifted the 2025 Copa do Brasil.
