According to Globo.com, Flamengo have released nine players plus youngster Léo Nannetti to report to their national teams after a Libertadores win over Cusco of Peru at the Maracanã.

Nico De La Cruz, Guillermo Varela and Giorgian De Arrascaeta are due to link up with Uruguay. Marcelo Bielsa has not yet named his squad, but the club have received paperwork from the Uruguayan federation requesting their release.

Those cleared are Alex Sandro, Danilo Luiz, Léo Nannetti, Léo Pereira and Lucas Paquetá for Brazil, Jorge Carrascal for Colombia, Gonzalo Plata for Ecuador, and Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Guillermo Varela and Nico De La Cruz for Uruguay.

All will miss the match against Coritiba on Saturday, the 18th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, at the Maracanã.

Léo Nannetti has been called up to train with Brazil at Granja Comary in preparation for the World Cup. The other nine are due to play at the tournament for their countries.
