A longer international window means Flamengo will have all their internationals back in time to face Red Bull Bragantino on 2 April in Bragança Paulista.
According to Globo.com, seven players were called up: Danilo and Léo Pereira for Brazil, Varela, De la Cruz and Arrascaeta for Uruguay, Gonzalo Plata for Ecuador and Jorge Carrascal for Colombia.
Carrascal is due back first, with Colombia facing France on 29 March in Washington, United States. On 31 March, Brazil meet Croatia in Orlando, United States, Algeria play Uruguay in Turin, Italy, and the Netherlands host Ecuador in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Selection will depend on fitness assessments once the players return to Brazil, though it is likely all will be in the squad.
Return flights are set by the national teams, but Flamengo will help with logistics for the Brazilian duo to choose the best option and have Léo Pereira and Danilo available for the ninth round of the Brasileirão.
In the last international window, Flamengo ran into problems as players featured for their countries a day before the Brasileiro derby against Fluminense. Danilo and Alex Sandro, who had played in Europe, arrived in Rio only hours before kick-off and went straight to the Maracanã.
