Members of Flamengo’s Geração 2019 have reunited on holiday, with Willian Arão, Everton Ribeiro and Bruno Henrique enjoying a beach break in Italy.

According to Coluna Do Fla, supporters have tracked their trip on social media. A post by Marília Nery, wife of former number seven Everton Ribeiro, highlighted his close bond with Arão, and in a game of frescobol Arão lost to Ribeiro, nicknamed Miteiro by Flamengo fans.

Bruno Henrique is also in the Italian getaway. The number 27 has kept a low profile online, though he has appeared alongside ex-Flamengo team-mates.

That title-winning squad forged strong friendships beyond the pitch. Several others from that group have been meeting up during their time off.

With Jorge Jesus visiting Brazil, Diego Alves, Diego Ribas, Vitinho and Filipe Luís joined him for dinner. A photo from the gathering delighted Flamengo fans on social media.

The Geração 2019 side sealed the Libertadores and the Brasileirão in 2019, then lifted the Carioca, Recopa Sul-Americana and Supercopa do Brasil in 2020, cementing their status as one of the club’s most successful squads.
