Alessandro Florenzi enjoyed Milan’s victory away against Real Madrid in the Champions League so much that he reportedly asked for an iPad so that he and his teammates could watch the spectacle back again later that same evening.
Milan rose to an emphatic 3-1 victory away against the current Champions League holders thanks to goals from Malick Thiaw, Alvaro Morata and Tijjani Reijnders.
Milan were jubilant in their celebrations, and earned rave reviews from the press in Italy and Spain alike. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri squad spent Tuesday night in Madrid after the game due to travel restrictions, but that only helped raise the team’s spirits as they celebrated into the night.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport’s report, Florenzi made his colleagues chuckle by asking for an iPad so that he and his teammates could watch the game back on the same evening.
It was only the second Champions League win of the season for the Rossoneri, who endured defeats against Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen during the opening two rounds of the competition.
At the half-way stage of the league phase, Milan still have four matches remaining against Slovan Bratislava, Red Star, Girona and Dynamo Zagreb before the play-off and knock-out rounds commence.
