Fluminense-PI’s Copa do Brasil record, from 2022 debut to 2026 exit

Fluminense-PI exited the Copa do Brasil after a 3-0 loss to Goiás in the 2026 third phase, closing their fourth campaign. According to Globo.com, they already have a 2027 place via the Campeonato Piauiense.
They debuted in 2022, beating Oeste 2-0 at the Albertão in Teresina. Mário Sérgio, the season's top scorer in Brazil, scored both to reach the second phase.
In the second phase they hosted Santos. Mário Sérgio put them ahead before the break, Camacho was sent off early in the second half, Ricardo Goulart equalised and the visitors won 5-4 on penalties.
In 2023, they were beaten 4-0 by Ponte Preta in Teresina, at Lindolfo Monteiro. Mateus Silva, an own goal by Lucão, Pablo Dyego and Jeh scored.
Their third straight entry ended against Fortaleza at Lindolfo Monteiro. After a goalless first half, heavy rain forced a postponement, and on resumption Kuscevic, Lucero and Kervin Andrade sealed a 3-0 win.
In 2026, they beat Trem on penalties in Santana after a 0-0 draw at Augusto Antunes, with the visitors’ draw advantage removed under 2025 rules. Mauro Iguatu saved Welliton Londres’ kick then converted the decisive effort to send them through.
Goiás then won 3-0 at Hailé Pinheiro, Serrinha, in Goiânia, with Tadeu, Cadu and Lucas Lima scoring, earning R$1.07 million and a tie with Maringá. Fluminense-PI now face Piauí in the Campeonato Piauiense semi-final second leg, needing at least a one-goal win in normal time to force penalties.
