Frontman Guiu of course sealed an exit from Catalunya’s capital back in the summer of 2024, making the move to west London with big-spending Chelsea.

The Spaniard has since gone on to endure something of a hit-and-miss time of things in England, struggling for consistent game-time in the Premier League.

As alluded to above, though, on Wednesday, he enjoyed a moment to remember…

Chelsea are currently locked in action on the continent, in a Champions League clash with Dutch outfit Ajax.

And as things stand, Enzo Maresca’s troops are in complete control, leading by a hefty five goals to one.

The aforementioned Guiu was responsible for opening the scoring in proceedings, in the process etching his name into the Chelsea history books.

This came as the attacker became the youngest player to ever score for the Blues in Europe’s premiere club competition.

As of today, Guiu is 19 years and 291 days old.

*Update* – Incredibly, Guiu’s record has already been broken, by 18-year-old teammate Estêvão Willian.
