One former Chelsea player has claimed that a world class striker wants to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The news comes after Chelsea played out a boring 0-0 draw against Brentford in the Premier League yesterday afternoon in what was another underwhelming performance.
Enzo Maresca frustrated Chelsea fans once again with a heavily rotated starting lineup in such an important game in the race for Champions League qualification, and then he annoyed them even more with some of the excuses he came out with after the game, even blaming the weather!
The Blues boss was also frustrated though, pointing out the fact that his attackers are currently not doing enough and has called for more goals from them all.
Maresca and his players must keep going now and onto the next game later this week in the Conference League as they look to try and win some silverware this season.
Attentions will then turn to the summer transfer market and Chelsea will be looking at a number of positions to strengthen yet again.
We all know that a new striker is going to be the priority for Chelsea, and former Blues midfielder John Obi Mikel is preaching for that to be Victor Osimhen again.

Mikel claims on his latest Podcast that Victor Osimhen really wants to play for Chelsea. He says:
“Listen, it will be really sad if we don’t get a player who supported us a kid and wants to play for this Football Club.
“His idol is [Didier] Drogba, he will want to break records, win us trophies, get us back to the top, come for Drogba’s records. I’m telling you that would be his mission.
“If the club chose not to pursue it.. then well fair enough, good luck to them, but the good thing about it is we know where we left it, we can literally pick the phone up and get him straight in the door.”
