Charlie Cresswell’s form at Toulouse could put the former Leeds United defender at the centre of a summer scramble in Ligue 1 and the Premier League.

TeamTalk reports that Manchester United are leading the chase and view the young centre-back as a possible replacement for Harry Maguire.

Cresswell left Leeds for Toulouse in summer 2024 after limited minutes under Daniel Farke. He featured in five league games and two League Cup matches before moving to France for regular football.

Other clubs have been linked, including relegation-threatened West Ham United, Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace.

Leeds will prioritise cementing their top-flight place before turning to next season’s plans, with the summer window approaching.
