Former Orlando Pirates star becomes a free agent again!

Veteran striker Kermit Erasmus is currently without a club following his release from Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars.

The 35-year-old spent the previous season with the second-tier club, which narrowly missed out on promotion to the Betway Premiership after finishing third in the league and falling short in the playoff rounds. Orbit College ultimately secured the promoted position instead.

As part of a broader squad restructuring aimed at another push for top-flight qualification, Casric Stars have opted not to retain Erasmus, along with several other players. The former Orlando Pirates attacker is now available to join any team ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Throughout his professional career, Erasmus has made 365 appearances, scoring 85 goals and providing 45 assists. This includes 27 goals contributed during his two separate spells with Orlando Pirates
