Estevao Willian has made a major impact since signing for Chelsea with the teenager again impressing in the Champions League this week.
The Brazilian scored the opener in the club’s 2-2 draw at Qarabag, to continue his bright start in English football. At just 18, the winger is already making headlines and has set several new milestones in West London.
Here are four records Estevao has broken at Stamford Bridge.
Estevao marked his first start for Chelsea with an assist in August’s 5-1 win at West Ham. Thrust into the starting lineup after Cole Palmer withdrew in the warm-up, he set up Enzo Fernandez at the London Stadium. No player has provided a Premier League assist for Chelsea at a younger age.
Arguably Estevao’s best moment in a Chelsea shirt arrived in September. In the 95th minute of a crucial clash against Premier League champions Liverpool, the teenager picked the perfect time to score his first goal for the Blues.
He’s the youngest Brazil international to score a match-winning goal in the Premier League.
Chelsea become the first team in Champions League history to have three teenage scorers after a 5-1 win over Ajax at Stamford Bridge last month. Marc Guiu set a new record as the club’s youngest scorer in the competition, only for Estevao to eclipse him just 33 minutes later.
Incredibly, Tyrique George then netted to sandwich himself between his two teammates, with Chelsea’s three youngest UCL scorers all happening in the same match.
Estevao’s goal against Qarabag this week made it back-to-back Champions League games with a goal.
No South American has achieved that feat at a younger age, not even Lionel Messi.
