Inter Milan’s emphatic win over Pisa gave Ange-Yoan Bonny another moment to shine, and the French forward was quick to praise a teammate after adding his name to the scoresheet.

Speaking to DAZN, via FCInterNews, Bonny highlighted Federico Dimarco’s effort as the standout goal of the night.

Asked to choose the best strike from a goal-filled evening, Bonny did not hesitate. “Federico Dimarco’s goal,” he said.

“It was beautiful and difficult to score.” The wing-back’s finish capped a dominant Inter display and drew admiration from both teammates and supporters.

Bonny also reflected on his own goal, which made the score 5-2. He admitted the move carried risk but felt it was necessary.

“If you play like that, you have to score, otherwise they kill you,” he said with a smile. “When I set off, I went to score. I’m happy.”

The forward then spoke about the confidence he feels within the squad. Bonny stressed how the collective environment helps younger players express themselves.

“My teammates give confidence to everyone,” he explained.

“I think that makes it easier for us young players because we are helped to stay within the group and give our best. For me, it’s a pleasure to be in this team.”

Bonny also underlined Cristian Chivu’s influence on the squad, including the competition for places in attack.

“We understood that the group is the most important thing,” he said.

“We have the same objectives, and you don’t get anywhere on your own.”

Finally, the France forward addressed the wider title picture and the upcoming weekend. Bonny insisted Inter remain focused on themselves.

“We look at the table after the matches,” he concluded. “First we think about ourselves and look forward. We hope to keep going like this. We push, even if the others are also doing well.”
