The manager of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, spoke highly of Claudio Ranieri and his decision to return to Roma.
During yesterday’s press conference, on the eve of Italy-France, the French coach Didier Deschamps, in charge of Les Bleus since 2012, used the example of Ranieri on the Roma bench to respond to those who would like a new coach for Mbappé and his teammates.
“After 12 years at the helm of the national team, I’m not tired,” said Deschamps.
“You always learn, every day. Have you seen Ranieri? At 73, he’s back to coaching Roma. Experience is something positive.”
“Then every morning I get up and in front of the mirror I say ‘I know that I know nothing.”
“I know how to adapt, to the environment and the needs. And I still have the same desire as I used to when I first started.”
