Defender Benjamin Pavard feels that Inter Milan “all fight for each other” after their 2-2 Champions League draw with Bayern Munich.
The Frenchman spoke to UEFATV after the final whistle at the San Siro, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan got a huge result against Bayern Munich in the Champions League yesterday.
The Nerazzurri managed to hold on to their first leg advantage. They got a 2-2 draw that will have felt like a win considering the circumstances.
It was not an easy draw to get, by any stretch of the imagination.
Inter had to stay switched-on for ninety minutes. The Nerazzurri player had to defend well individually – but also work effectively as a unit to hold Bayern at arm’s length.

In the end, Inter managed to get it over the line, though. They conceded twice, but these Bayern goals came either side of a flurry which saw Inter find of the back of the net from corners.
The scorer of Inter’s second goal was defender Benjamin Pavard.
The Frenchman scored against the team that he joined the Nerazzurri from in the summer of 2023. And he was scoring for the very first time for his current club.
After the match, Pavard said that “I’m very proud of the team.”
“We played a great match,” he continued. “It wasn’t easy, we had to suffer a lot.”
“But we played together, for each other. And we’re very happy with reaching the next round.”
Benjamin Pavard added that “Bayern are a great club.”
“I played there for four years. And I know what it means.”
The 29-year-old said that “now we’re in the semifinals.”
“We knew that Bayern would attack us. But we defended well.”
