France will wear their blue-white-red home strip for Tuesday’s World Cup semi-final against Spain in Dallas, with kick-off at 21:00 in France.
According to L'Équipe, Les Bleus are the designated home team for the tie, giving them first choice of colours, and they have opted for blue shirts, white shorts and red socks.
They were also the home side for the 2-0 quarter-final win over Morocco, when they chose the rarely used away kit. This time they will face La Roja in their traditional blue.
It also avoids reminders of the Euro 2024 semi-final, when France played in white and Spain in red. Spain will now wear their away strip, white shirts with red shorts and white socks.
That combination lets France keep white shorts and red socks, rather than the all-blue look seen against Iraq, a 3-0 victory.
