Fans attending Sunday’s Manchester Derby can enjoy a brand-new fan zone being trialled at Co-op Live’s new Canalside space.
The fan zone, which aims to build the atmosphere ahead of the game, has space for up to 2,000 Blues and is completely free to attend.
At the event, there will be a live DJ and the chance to hear from special guest speakers. Some screens will also be showing the earlier kick-off in the Premier League, and there will also be a range of competitions with the opportunity to win signed merchandise and future match-day experiences.
The event is only available to Manchester City ticketholders – all you need to do is show your ticket for the match to enter!
Sunday’s trial will be one of the first events to take place at Co-op Live’s new Canalside space, which is located just off Joe Mercer Way and has both inside and outside space.
It follows a number of fan zones inside Co-op Live last season, which proved popular with fans who, on average, scored their experience 8.7 out of 10.
Doors open at 13:30 (UK) so fans can catch the Burnley vs Liverpool match on the small number of screens showing it. The event will wrap up by 16:00 (UK).
Drinks such as Asahi Super Dry and Pepsi Max will be priced the same as inside the Etihad Stadium.
The event is fully accessible with step-free access. For more details, visit Co-op Live Accessibility Info.
