Three games into the new season, Real Madrid have been able to maintain a hundred percent winning record in La Liga so far.

One of the key highlights of Real Madrid’s campaign has been a largely stable midfield, with Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde forming the heart of Xabi Alonso’s setup.

However, as players like Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham eventually recover and regain full fitness, it is natural to think that someone like Tchouameni to enjoy less prominence in the starting eleven.

Xabi Alonso has full faith in Camavinga

In a recent Q&A session, journalist Guillermo Rai highlighted that Alonso has a great deal of confidence in Eduardo Camavinga, who is still recovering from injury but will naturally get a lot of minutes once he returns.

It appears the French international is considered a key figure for Madrid’s future, and his tactical flexibility makes him a valuable piece of Alonso’s midfield puzzle.

That could naturally affect Arda Guler’s involvement. With Bellingham also set to return from his shoulder surgery, the teenager may find himself competing for a starting spot.

Still, Rai underlined that Guler remains a key player for Alonso, who will continue to start him in many matches.

The coach’s rotations and occasional switch of systems could ease the congestion in midfield, ensuring both Guler and Camavinga receive regular game-time.

But as things stand, Camavinga appears to be a key piece in Alonso’s midifeld puzzle and the Frenchman will play a key role in helping Real Madrid compete for titles this season.

Recent reports, though, suggests that the former Rennes starlet has been ruled out of the upcoming Real Sociedad game, with Real Madrid eyeing to bring him back to the pitch against Marseille, in the Champions League opener.
