William Saliba, Armand Laurienté and Hugo Ekitike headline the French weekend XI. L'Équipe notes that eleven players are selected in a 4-3-3.

Gauthier Gallon kept bottom side Dender afloat in a 0-0 at Cercle Bruges. The winter arrival made eight saves and prevented 2.14 expected goals, sealing a third clean sheet in seven matches.

Ekitike starred in Liverpool versus West Ham, 5-2, with a goal and two assists to reach 22 goal contributions this season. Laurienté became the first forward to deliver two assists in consecutive Serie A matches since 2012.
