"The final details still need to be clarified, but I expect him to start the season with us. Bara (Ndiaye) will undergo performance tests on Monday and then join the training camp in Tegernsee," said sporting director Christoph Freund, speaking to Bild.

The 18-year-old initially joined from Gambinos Stars on a six-month loan.

He made four Bundesliga appearances as Vincent Kompany rotated after sealing the title with games to spare.
