Paulo Dybala and José Mourinho could share the same path after their time together at Roma.
The Portuguese coach, currently at the helm of Benfica, has reportedly expressed his desire to bring “La Joya” back to Lisbon.
The Argentine playmaker’s contract with Roma’s number 21 jersey expires in June 2026, and at the moment, there appears to be no prospect of him staying in the capital.
This situation opens up exciting transfer scenarios, with Mourinho ready to welcome the Argentine star with open arms.
According to CNN Portugal, “The Special One” has asked the Portuguese club to evaluate the deal, aware that Dybala wants to play in Europe for a few more years.
It seems unlikely, if not impossible, that the deal could materialize as early as January, also given the Argentine’s market value, estimated between €10 and €15 million.
