Gabri Veiga is back available and expected to start against Nottingham Forest, while Rodrigo Mora’s thigh scare has eased after tests.

Mora went off near half-time against Famalicão with pain in his right thigh. According to O Jogo, examinations at Olival on Easter Sunday found only a spasm and no serious damage. He will be monitored and a return in time for Thursday has not been ruled out.

Even so, caution points to him being rested. He had recently suffered a left thigh issue that kept him out of the national team, and Francesco Farioli will manage his condition to avoid setbacks. The switch for Fofana during the Famalicão match helped prevent anything worse.

Rotation in the Europa League is expected, so Porto’s midfield should change. Veiga is available after a domestic ban for accumulating five yellow cards and is likely to start, alongside Pablo Rosario and Fofana.

The Spaniard looks closer to form, having scored against Moreirense after assisting versus Benfica. He is fresh too, as he has not played since 22 March because of suspension and the international break.
