Galatasaray ‘to sign’ tri-national Borussia Mönchengladbach forward Can Armando Güner | OneFootball

Turkish champions Galatasaray are close to signing 17-year-old Can Armando Güner from Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Bild reports he is set to sign a three-and-a-half-year deal, with around €1 million due in compensation, and he was scheduled to travel to Istanbul on Thursday morning to finalise the move.

Mönchengladbach wanted to keep him beyond his 2026 contract, but he was drawn to Galatasaray’s desire and, crucially, a quicker route to first-team football.

Born in Germany, he is eligible for Germany, Türkiye and Argentina. His profile rose after selection in Diego Placente’s Argentina U17 World Cup squad last year.
