Fotomac reports that Galatasaray are exploring a loan for West Ham’s Magassa with a fixed buy option. The reigning Süper Lig champions want a midfield addition this month.
The plan would include a purchase clause at the end of the 2025/26 season for the 22-year-old Frenchman.
Uncertainty around Gabriel Sara’s future has prompted a search for defensive cover and tactical flexibility, a profile Magassa shares with targets such as Manuel Ugarte.
If a deal cannot be struck, Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika is viewed as an alternative.
Magassa joined West Ham from Monaco last summer for €17 million but has seen limited action, totalling 808 minutes across 15 games.
Any move could be complicated by West Ham’s relegation fight, with Nuno Espírito Santo potentially reluctant to lose a versatile squad option mid-season.
Tomas Soucek has also been linked with Süper Lig interest, while Napoli have been linked with the former France youth international. The closing days will determine whether he joins the Istanbul club or stays to aid West Ham’s survival push.
