Galatasaray face Fenerbahce in a potential Turkish Süper Lig title decider this afternoon.
The Istanbul rivals clash in a high-stakes encounter at Rams Park, in an Intercontinental Derby that could decide the outcome of the season.
Galatasaray lead the title race from Fenerbahce by four points, with four games to go. A win for the hosts could all but seal a fourth consecutive Süper Lig title, while the visitors know a win could blow open the title race.
There has been controversy in the build-up to this one with Fenerbahce unhappy with the protective arm brace used during Victor Osimhen recovery. The Nigerian striker made his return from a fractured forearm during the Turkish Cup exit to Genclerbirligi in midweek. Fenerbahce have lodged a complaint.
Osimhen’s return is a massive boost for Galatasaray, with the 27-year-old having scored 19 goals in all competitions this season.
In other team news, doubts remain over Yaser Asprilla, who has missed the last three games. Defender Metehan Baltaci remains suspended due to alleged involvement in a betting scandal.
Fenerbahce will be without Marco Asensio in a blow to their hopes. The Spaniard is sidelined with a muscular issue, devoiding the visitors of creative threat. Asensio’s 12 league assists are a league-leading total in the Süper Lig.
Hopes will be pinned on Talisa, who has scored 24 goals in 42 games across all competitions this season.
Elsewhere, Edson Alvarez remains out with an ankle injury, while teenager forward Sidiki Cherif was forced off in midweek and is a major doubt.
Galatasaray predicted XI: Cakir; Sallai, Sanchez, Bardakci, Jakobs; Torreira, Lemina; Sane, Gabriel Sara, Yilmaz; Osimhen.
Fenerbahce predicted XI: Ederson; Semedo, Skriniar, Oosterwolde, Mercan; Kante, Guendouzi; Nene, Yuksek, Akturkoglu; Talisca.
Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce takes place on Sunday 26th April 2026 at Rams Park. Kick-off in the clash is 6pm BST.
The fixture will not be televised in the UK. US fans can watch the game on beIN Sports.
