Massimiliano Allegri’s mentor and close friend, Giovanni Galeone, joked about the coach’s future, suggesting the former Juventus boss is feeding him misleading hints about his next destination.
The 57-year-old has been out of work since leaving the Bianconeri at the end of last season, but has been repeatedly linked with a return to Serie A. Clubs such as Milan, Napoli, and Roma are all reportedly considering him as a potential candidate for their benches.

Still, Galeone admitted he’s in the dark about Allegri’s plans, though he suspects the Italian tactician ‘already has something in mind’.
“Allegri? I don’t know where he’ll end up next season,” Galeone told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“Lately, he’s been telling me lies,” he joked.
“I spoke to him a few days ago and he seemed calm — I think he already has something in mind. There’s talk about Roma and Milan, but I’m sure several benches will change this summer.

“Conte? No one knows what he’ll do, but even Inzaghi isn’t certain to stay. Maybe Inter didn’t quite deserve to reach the Champions League final — they did well, but were also lucky.”
