Alejandro Garnacho is reportedly open to joining Napoli, but Italian sources claim Manchester United’s asking price for the 20-year-old is €80m, while the Serie A side won’t offer more than €50m.

Napoli have identified Argentinean talent Garnacho as a possible replacement for the departing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and according to several sources, the Partenopei director Giovanni Manna met the winger’s agent in Barcelona on Monday.

All Italian media agree that Garnacho is open to joining Napoli this month, but the Partenopei are far from reaching an agreement with his club, Manchester United.

Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport report that the Red Devils want €80m to sell their talent this month.

Napoli, on the other hand, have already offered €45m, and according to Corriere dello Sport, they can reach €50m, but they are unlikely to bid more than that.

Garnacho is just one of the possible Kvaratskhelia replacements; Karim Adeyemi and Federico Chiesa are also on the Partenopei’s radar.

Timo Werner had also been mentioned, but the German’s latest injury means the Partenopei won’t look at him to replace Kvara.
