The 240th edition of the prestigious Derby della Madonnina will take place tomorrow and after a very tough start to the season, AC Milan will be looking for some glory. Against Inter, however, it will be far from a walk in the park.

The derby has always been very special for the fans and the fixture is more prestigious than it has been for several years, with both Milan and Inter coming out of tough periods. However, in recent time, it has certainly been more painful for the red and black parts of the city.

Indeed, as highlighted by Gazzetta dello Sport, there are several interesting facts about the 240th derby and Inter’s winning streak is one of them. Milan simply have to bounce back as losing seven derbies in a row would be pure embarrassment.

Notable facts about Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina

Over 200 countries will be connected via TV thanks to 13 different broadcasters. In particular, in the United States, the match will be broadcast by CBS which will have extensive pre- and post-match coverage.
Andriy Shevchenko is the top scorer in the history of the derby with 14 goals. Among the current protagonists, the best is Lautaro Martinez with 8 goals. The Argentine, who is yet to score this season, is chasing Zlatan Ibrahimovic with 10 goals.
Inter have won all of the last six derbies against Milan. This streak began in the Super Cup in January 2023, followed by three wins in the league and two in the Champions League. Milan managed six consecutive wins against their rivals between 1911 and 1913, as well as 1946 and 1948, but they never reached seven. Tomorrow, history could thus be achieved.
