According to Sky Sport Italia, Genoa are ready to make an approach for unhappy Burnley attacking winger Mike Trésor in the January window.
The 25-year-old was seemingly picked by coach Patrick Vieira to add something different to his squad this season.
Trésor is primarily a left-sided attacking winger, but can also be used as a centre-forward if required.
Genoa have been decimated by long-term injury problems so far this term and Mario Balotelli was also left out of the squad for the trip to Roma, which they lost 3-1 this evening.
Trésor has two senior caps for Belgium, earning the first in June 2023.

It will not be cheap, seeing as Burnley spent €18m to sign him from KRC Genk in July 2024, following a loan spell last season.
However, has made only one FA Cup appearance so far this term, in which he provided an assist, having been ruled out for practically the full campaign.
His absence has been somewhat shrouded in mystery, with some local reporters suggesting his illness and injury covered for the fact he simply did not want to be in the Championship following relegation from the Premier League.
He had been linked with Ajax over the summer and was frustrated that the transfer did not go through.
