With constant injuries preventing game time yet again, it comes as to no ones surprise that according to reports, Al-Hilal are thinking about parting ways with Neymar. The now 32-year-old Brazilian winger has been in the middle east since August 2023, yet has played just the seven times for the club, spending over a year out, and even after coming on in the 58th minute against Esteghlal FC in Al-Hilal's Asian Champion's League tie, the Brazilian had to be substituted himself at the 87 minute mark due to a thigh injury.

And with these reports that Al-Hilal could be terminating his contract, it leaves the question where could he go next? Considering his age, wages, injury record etc. it's hard to see what elite clubs in the european game would hold an interest in the Brazilian, but one thing for sure is that he will want to keep playing, as he will want to be fit for the World Cup in the United States in the summer of 2026, a dream he is still yet to give up on, retirement will not be an option.

So for me, there is only one fairly realistic choice he has. Inter Miami. Think about it, no club in Europe will want him, he also won't go back to Brazil, the schedule over there is extremely hectic with the number of games and how frequent they are, and he'd get to link up with his best pals from Barcelona once more, forming the incredible MSN trio that the world got to watch for 3 years between 2014 and 2017.

If the 128-capped Brazilian international was to make the trip to Florida in 2025, you would imagine he would receive a spot of being one of the three 'designated players' that each club in Major League Soccer can have. This means that every club in the league can have three players that would be considered outside their salary cap. You might be surprised to find out that as of right now, that Luis Suárez and Jordi Alba are not two of the Heron's designated players, with Ecuadorian striker Leonardo Campana taking that third spot alongside Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets, so you'd think with all due respect to Campana, if they wanted to add Neymar as a DP, that he would be the one they remove from it.

It would be an incredible feeling for football fans all around the world that got to see this wonderful trio dominate football at their absolute peaks for three years in Cataloina light it up once more as they close the curtains on their unbelievable careers.
