The future of Gianluigi Donnarumma isn’t at PSG following the signing of Lucas Chevalier. As a result, the Italian will need to find a new long-term home and rumors have him heading to Manchester United.
CentreDevils recently reported that Manchester United have held direct talks for Donnarumma. The 26-year-old is a potential goal option for Ruben Amorim, who is reportedly a big fan of the PSG keeper.
The report says Donnarumma’s experience and skill could be a valuable addition at Old Trafford as Amorim works to rebuild the squad this summer. Journalist Ben Jacobs added that PSG want £26 million for Donnarumma, who has one year left on his contract after the club decided not to offer him a new deal.

On Tuesday, Donnarumma broke his silence amid the transfer rumors with the 2025-26 season set to start on Wednesday with the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham Hotspur.
“From my very first day of arrival, I gave everything, on and off the field, to earn my place and proudly defend the Paris Saint-Germain goal,” Donnarumma said in a statement. “Unfortunately, someone decided that I could no longer be part of this group and contribute to the team’s success. This decision leaves me both disappointed and saddened.
“I hope to once again have the chance to look the supporters at the Parc des Princes in the eyes and say goodbye to them as they deserve. If that does not happen, know that your support and affection have meant a lot to me and that I will never forget it. I will always keep in my heart the memory of the emotions lived, the magical nights, and you, who made me feel at home […]”
Meanwhile, RMC Sport reported that Chelsea and Manchester United have inquired about Donnarumma’s situation. But this case is far from settled; it is just a simple expression of interest from the two English clubs.
