Leeds United have been urged to explore a move for Wales international Harry Wilson when his Fulham deal ends next month. According to Leeds Live, former Leeds star Gordon Strachan says adding him to an already sizeable Welsh contingent would be a smart fit.
Wilson signed a long-term contract with Fulham after leaving Liverpool five years ago, and that agreement is close to expiry with no new deal in place. The Cottagers have offered improved terms, and with manager Marco Silva leaving, it seems almost certain Wilson will do the same this summer.
The 29-year-old produced 10 goals and seven assists in the 2025/26 season. He was arguably the top flight’s form player across December and January.
Aston Villa are seen as favourites to land the free agent, with Tottenham Hotspur also credited with interest. Strachan, though, believes Wilson could have a real impact at Elland Road.
He thinks there are 10 league goals a season in Wilson and that he would be a great signing. Strachan added that Wilson can reach those numbers in the Premier League and, being available on a free, is well worth consideration. He says the winger has taken responsibility at Fulham and is now a feared threat from the right side of the box.
