Grêmio face Palmeiras at 21:30 on Thursday at Arena Barueri. According to Globo.com, captain Arthur is a doubt after missing training because of muscular discomfort.
Since returning to work last week, he has not taken part in on-pitch sessions at CT Luiz Carvalho. He returned in the defeat to Vasco, 15 days after a muscle injury.
His involvement on Thursday remains uncertain as the coaching staff monitor him. Grêmio train on Tuesday morning, and another absence could point to the midfielder missing out.
Luís Castro is already without left-back Caio Paulista, on loan from Palmeiras and therefore ineligible. Pedro Gabriel will start there, with Marlon beginning recovery after surgery on his right ankle.
A possible XI includes Weverton, Pavon, Gustavo Martins, Viery and Pedro Gabriel, Leo Pérez, Nardoni or Arthur, Monsalve, Amuzu and Enamorado, and Carlos Vinicius.
Noriega plays on Tuesday for Peru in a friendly against Honduras in Spain, and his inclusion from the start against Palmeiras is unlikely. Grêmio have a session on Wednesday before travelling to São Paulo.
