Groups F, G and H begin play in U-17 Qualifiers

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers continue with five matches as the opening encounters are played in Groups F, G and H on Friday.
Group F
Curaçao vs. Cuba
Curaçao meets Cuba in Group F at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala. It will be the first time the two meet in Under-17 Qualifiers.
For Curaçao, the meeting marks the sixth time it faces a Caribbean opponent in its opening fixture, holding a record two wins, one draw and two losses. Curaçao is unbeaten in its past three opening matches (2W, 1D).
For Cuba, it will be the fifth time facing a Caribbean team in its opening contest, having recorded two wins, one draw and one loss.
El Salvador vs. Belize
El Salvador will face Belize in Group F at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The meeting marks the first-ever between the nations in U-17 Qualifiers.
La Selecta takes on a fellow Central American side in its opening match for the third time. El Salvador registered a draw and a loss in its previous encounters.
Belize will face a Central American opponent in the competition for the second time, falling against Nicaragua in the 2025 edition.
Group G
Jamaica vs. Aruba
Jamaica faces Aruba in Group G at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 1 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The nations meet for a second time in a U-17 Qualifier tournament. The first time around, Jamaica earned a 10-1 victory in the Group Stage of the 1992 edition.
For Jamaica, it will be its fifth time facing Caribbean opposition in its opening match of the competition. The Reggae Boyz possess a record of three wins and a draw in those matchups.
Canada vs. Cayman Islands
Canada and the Cayman Islands will play in Group G at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 1 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The nations meet again after 34 years, with Canada earning a 6-nil win in the Group Stage of the 1992 edition.
Canada will aim to extend its positive streak against Caribbean nations in the opening matchday of the U-17 Qualifiers. The Reds won each of its past eight encounters, while scoring 27 goals and conceding only six.
The Cayman Islands begins its third appearance in the competition in search of winning its opening fixture for the first time.
Group H
Bermuda vs. Guyana
Bermuda and Guyana open Group H at Estadio Francisco Morazán in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The two meet for the first time in the U-17 Qualifiers.
Bermuda faces a Caribbean team on the opening matchday of the Group Stage for the third time, having lost the previous two.
For Guyana, it will be its second opening fixture against a Caribbean team after recording a 1-1 draw against Trinidad and Tobago in 2025.
