Corinthians earned a vital point with a 1-1 draw at Independiente Santa Fe in the Libertadores on Wednesday, with defender Gustavo Henrique and goalkeeper Hugo Souza the standouts.

Gustavo Henrique converted a Matheuzinho cross in stoppage time to level at El Campín, moving second in the team's 2026 scoring chart on four goals. According to Meu Timao, he topped the fan ratings with an average of 9.4.

Hugo Souza impressed with a string of second-half saves, including one on the line, to finish on 8.4. Midfielder Dieguinho came on after the break and earned 7.1.

Some starters drew criticism. André Luiz received the lowest mark with 1.6, while Yuri Alberto scored 3.3 and Breno Bidon 3.5. Pedro Raul, who played around 10 minutes, also received 3.5.

The late point leaves Corinthians close to the last 16. They lead Group E on 10 points and will qualify if Peñarol slip against Platense on Thursday.

Fernando Diniz's side return on Sunday to face São Paulo at 18:30 at Neo Química Arena in the 14th round of the Brasileirão.
