Transfermarkt’s latest Premier League data shows fresh player value changes as the season enters its key stage.

Premier League still leads world football in market value

The Premier League remains the most valuable league in world football by a wide margin. On Transfermarkt’s current league overview page, the English top flight is valued at €12.43 billion, with average player value of €23.58 million across 20 clubs and 527 players.

That keeps England well clear of its rivals as the business end of the season begins.

At club level, Manchester City lead the way at €1.29bn followed by Arsenal at €1.27bn, Chelsea at €1.16bn and Liverpool at €1.04bn.

The numbers show how deep the league’s financial power remains even in a season where results have not always matched squad value.

Big names have seen their prices fall

The latest Transfermarkt market value change page for the Premier League shows that several top names have dropped in price.

Alexander Isak is listed at €120m after a €20m fall while Bukayo Saka also dropped by €10m to €130m. Rodri is down by €15m to €75m and Martin Odegaard has fallen by €5m to €75m.

The same update also shows changes for other stars. Alexis Mac Allister is down €15m to €85m while Bruno Guimaraes, Viktor Gyokeres and Bryan Mbeumo all appear among notable recent changes as clubs enter the final stretch of the campaign.

These moves reflect how market values react to form, fitness, age, role and team situation, not just reputation.

Haaland still sets the standard

Even with many drops among leading names, the Premier League still has huge value at the top. Transfermarkt’s current top-values page ranks Erling Haaland first in the league at €200m.

He is followed by Bukayo Saka & Declan Rice at €120m+ while players such as Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo and William Saliba remain among the most valuable assets in England.

This is important for the wider picture. The league is not only rich because of transfer spending. It is also rich because many of its biggest players keep elite market positions even after small drops.

That gives Premier League clubs strong power in the transfer market and helps explain why English teams continue to dominate squad value tables.
