Haaland and his first team team-mates marked the end of a hugely successful season which saw City win both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup with a trophy parade through the city centre before joining fans for a celebration After Party at the Co-Op.

Greeted by a sea of thousands of City fans, also taking part in the Parade were our triumphant women’s team, fresh from lifting the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League title, along with the Blues’ 2025/26 FA Youth Cup winners.

The parade also served as a special way to say a final goodbye to men’s manager Pep Guardiola after an incredible 10 years at the helm which saw the Club lift 20 major trophies, as well as key duo Bernardo Silva and John Stones who are also saying goodbye after magnificent careers at the Etihad.

However, though it was a chance to reflect and remember, Erling also said he was adamant there would be more parades and more success to savour looking forward to the future.

“It’s amazing - the weather’s on our side as well,” said the newly crowned Premier League Golden Boot winner as the crowds basked in the hottest day of the year so far.

“I’m just happy for the Manchester City fans.

“I got the feeling we could’ve done more this season but there’s more to come.

“I’m enjoying the parade now but I think there’ll be an even better one in the future.”

Haaland was also effusive in his praise for Stones and Bernardo as they bid their final farewells to the City fans.

The duo are moving on after spending 10 and nine years at the Club respectively and cementing their place as true Blue legends.

From his personal perspective, Haaland said they had been amazing team mates on the field and magnificent friends off it.

“Bernardo and John have been here for nine or ten years and won six Premier Leagues each which speaks for itself,” Erling added.

“Two legends of the club who are amazing on and off the pitch.

“They’ve been amazing for City and I am so proud to have played with them.

“It’s a pleasure, I remember following John Stones on Twitter when I was young, I don’t think he knows!

“I’m proud to be playing with them and have won the Premier League, Champions League with them.”

The respect was mutual with the Barnsley Beckenbauer paying his own special tribute to the Norwegian master marksman.

“Erling has become one of the greatest players in the world if not the best in his position in my opinion, the best,” Stones declared.

“But an even better friend and that speaks volumes of the person he is, to be a better person then player.

“I’ve enjoyed every moment with him and I’ll miss him.”
