Habib Beye 'to face' Brest without staff | OneFootball

Habib Beye will start his Olympique de Marseille reign without his backroom team, with his assistants unavailable for Friday’s trip to Brest, according to L’Équipe.

Sébastien Bichard, Olivier Saragaglia and Yann Cavezza have been held back by Stade Rennais, who have delayed sending their dismissal notices, so they will miss the 8.45pm kick-off at Stade Brestois.

The impasse could run until 12th March, one month after the preliminary dismissal interview, which would leave Beye without them for three matches, Brest, then Olympique Lyonnais in the Coupe de France and Toulouse in Ligue 1.

The trio previously worked alongside Beye at Rennes. He himself had to wait a week to be officially released from his Rouge et Noir duties.

The Senegalese coach is therefore hoping his trusted colleagues can follow swiftly, with their return keenly anticipated.
