Hamburger SV are set to add 24-year-old winger Albert Grønbæk from Stade Rennes for the rest of the 2025-26 campaign.
According to Sky Germany, a full agreement with the Ligue 1 club followed a medical on Thursday, and the Dane’s aim is to become a regular starter at HSV and make the World Cup via Denmark’s play-offs.

The proposed deal would keep him with the Hanseatic club until the end of the season, with an option to buy included.
Grønbæk spent the first half of the season on loan at Genoa, who had an obligation to buy if performance-related conditions were met.
He featured only four times in Serie A and did not register a goal contribution.
