Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is yet to make a final decision on his plans at centre-forward for the club’s upcoming showdown with arch rivals Real Madrid.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.
Flick, for his part, is facing something of a selection dilemma at present.
Robert Lewandowski is fresh off marking his return to competitive action in midweek, following a spell on the sidelines with a muscular injury.
The Pole was introduced off the bench late on, as Barcelona were sent packing from the Champions League at the hands of Inter Milan.
Lewandowski, however, is not yet considered fully match fit.
In turn, it is entirely feasible that Ferran Torres could maintain his place as the Blaugrana’s attacking spearhead against Real Madrid this weekend.
Lewandowski, it is added, ‘believes that he is fit and wants to lead the team again against Madrid in Montjuïc’.
Hansi Flick, though, is desperate for the veteran striker not to suffer a fitness setback, therefore still undecided as to his plans at centre-forward for El Clásico.
