England manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that star striker Harry Kane will feature in tomorrow’s World Cup qualifier against Latvia.

Kane missed England’s 3-0 friendly victory over Wales on Thursday at Wembley Stadium as the Three Lions ran out comfortable winners thanks to first-half goals from Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka.

That was a ninth win in 10 matches for England, who will now head to Riga on Tuesday aiming to preserve their 100% World Cup qualifying record with Kane back available.

“Very easy with Harry, he can play and is fit. Tuchel said in his pre-match press conference (h/t Sky Sports).

“We did the right thing—top in training and ready to go.

“I don’t see why he should not be able to play 90 minutes. I don’t see any obstacles.”

Alongside Eberechi Eze and Reece James, Kane was one of three scorers back in March when England saw off Latvia 3-0 in the sides’ first-ever meeting.

Having scored 21 goals in 15 matches across all competitions for Bayern Munich, the 32-year-old has been in splendid form this term and will be aiming to deliver the goods once again.

Picking up maximum points from their five qualifiers so far, England are currently four points clear of Albania at the top of Group K with two games left.

A victory on Tuesday would see them clinch their place in the 2026 World Cup, where England will set out to end a 60-year wait for global success since going all the way in 1966.
