Arsenal faced off against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 16th minute when Rayan Cherki found the back of the net. He performed his defensive duties well and made one decent run with the ball.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 6.5/10

Odegaard created a few inviting chances in the final third, but failed to offer enough protection for his teammates at the back.

He anchored the midfield with conviction and was replaced in the 83rd minute.

Rice got stuck in with a few solid tackles and made one key chance in the final third.

Havertz was always willing to have a strike at goal and managed to score the equaliser for Arsenal in the 18th minute. However, he wasted a great chance to score late in the game.
