Ipswich 0 Newcastle 4 – Saturday 21 December 3pm
The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see today.
United dominating and blowing away Ipswich Town, who didn’t ever look like recovering from going behind after only 25 seconds.
That set Alexander Isak on the way to his first ever NUFC hat-trick.
Jacob Murphy getting the other goal, plus producing an outrageous assist for the Isak hat-trick goal.
What a brilliant team performance.
Another winning snapshot post-match.
Another photo = The tenth of this season.
The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
(It is actually the eleventh victory of the season for United but for whatever reasons, no winning photo after the win over AFC Wimbledon. Can only guess winning 1-0 at home to League Two opposition might have looked a ‘little’ lame.)
Three photos (victories!) in a week.
Great to see.
It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.
‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’
I absolutely love it.
Twenty one more Premier League games to go, as well as fingers crossed plenty more cup matches, so hopefully many more of these photos to come.
