Nicolas Jackson could play in Serie A one day and is attracted by Italian football according to his agent Ali Barat.

The Senegal international joined Bayern Munich on a deadline day loan in the summer, but looks unlikely to join the German champions on a permanent basis.

Bayern have an obligation to buy the Senegal international, based on making a certain number of appearances believed to be 40 starts.

Nicolas Jackson attracted by Italian football

However, with Jackson now at the African Cup Of Nations with Senegal it’s not possible for him to meet the criteria.

Several clubs are said to be attentive to the situation surrounding Jackson, and it’s looking like Chelsea need to find an alternative solution in the summer.

The 24-year-old’s agent has confirmed Jackson has had previous interest from Italy, and is attracted by Italian football.

“Italian top clubs wanted him even before Chelsea move, and last summer as well,” he told Fabrizio Romano.

“Nico only wanted Bayern, we made it happen. One day playing in Italy? For sure he’s attracted by Italian football.”

Emmanuel Emegha to arrive in 2026

Even if Jackson had a change of heart and wanted to return to Chelsea, the Blues seem to have moved on from the Senegalese.

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Emmanuel Emegha from Strasbourg, and the Dutch international has penned a seven year deal at Stamford Bridge.

He scored 14 goals in Ligue 1 last season, and Chelsea reportedly believe Emegha has great potential than Jackson.

Emegha will add another option upfront for Marsesca and a completely different profile, and he’s expected to go straight into the squad and compete for minutes with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.
