Everything is now perfectly set up for Barcelona to complete their La Liga triumph in the biggest possible fashion – by sealing the title against Real Madrid in front of a packed Spotify Camp Nou.

After months of consistency under Hansi Flick, Barcelona head into El Clasico with complete control over the title race.

The Catalans currently sit on 88 points, 11 points ahead of Real Madrid with only four league matches left to play.

That advantage means the equation is now simple for Barça. Avoid defeat against Madrid and the league title will officially belong to them.

A draw would move Barcelona to 89 points while leaving Madrid on 78, creating an impossible gap to recover with only three matches remaining afterwards.

A victory, meanwhile, would make the celebrations even bigger.

Optimism at Barcelona

If Barcelona defeat their rivals, the gap would grow to 14 points, mathematically ending the title race immediately while also delivering another major statement under Flick.

Within the club, however, the objective is not simply to secure the title with a cautious performance.

Barcelona want to finish the job with authority and continue pushing towards the symbolic 100-point mark this season.

The atmosphere surrounding the two clubs heading into the Clasico could also play a major role.

While Barcelona arrive full of confidence after dominating most of the campaign, uncertainty continues to surround Real Madrid following a difficult week filled with pressure and internal criticism.

What if Real Madrid win?

Even if Real Madrid manage to leave Camp Nou with a victory, the title race would still heavily favour Barcelona

In that situation, the Blaugrana would remain eight points ahead with only nine points left available.

Flick’s side would then have the chance to officially seal the championship away against Deportivo Alaves a few days later.

If Barcelona win against Alaves, they would reach 91 points. This means even if Real Madrid beat Oviedo, their tally would go up to 83, and still, they would not be able to catch the Blaugrana in the final two matches.
