Barry Bannan shared an elated message to his Instagram after Celtic beat Hearts in a dramatic final day in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic ousted Hearts in the battle for the Scottish Premiership title on Saturday, with two late goals sealing yet another league title for the Glaswegian club.
41 years of Rangers and Celtic dominance was under threat of being ended on Saturday, as Hearts headed to Celtic Park knowing they would be crowned SPFL champions for the first time since 1960 should they avoid defeat.
Things started well for the visitors, as they drew first blood on the stroke of halftime when Lawrence Shankland headed home from close range. The lead didn't last long though, as Celtic were level before the break thanks to Arne Engels from the penalty spot.
The Bhoys took control in the second half and found a way through in the 88th minute when Daizen Maeda's initially disallowed goal was reinstated by VAR.
Celtic wrapped it up deep inside stoppage time when Callum Osmand rolled the ball into an empty net following a Hearts free-kick, sending not only fans in the stadium, but across the world into bedlam.

Celtic have an enormous fanbase which contains many high-profile supporters, one of which is Millwall midfielder Barry Bannan, who is a lifelong Celts fan and has previously spent time in the club's youth ranks.
Bannan's current club were on the receiving end of play-off heartbreak last week, as their stunning Championship season was cut short in the semi-finals with the Lions falling to defeat at the hands of Hull City.
Despite this agonising end to a wonderful campaign, the dramatic nature of Celtic's title win on Saturday certainly provided a welcome boost for Bannan, who took to his Instagram to share a message after the Bhoys lifted the SPFL title.
The Millwall midfielder shared a picture on his Instagram story of Maeda celebrating his crucial goal, which had the caption: "U my friend have given me and my family one of the best days of our lives 🍀💚."
The veteran playmaker has experienced plenty of special moments throughout his playing career with Sheffield Wednesday, and it seems the events that took place at Celtic Park yesterday will live long in his memory too.

Despite spending all of his professional career in England, Bannan has been open about his love for Celtic throughout his career, having been born in nearby Airdrie, where he was raised as a passionate Celts fan.
The Scot joined Celtic's youth academy in 2002, but opted to accept a trial at Aston Villa two years later, where he would impress and earn himself a two-year contract with the Midlands club.
Bannan would spend the rest of his playing career in England, becoming a legend at Sheffield Wednesday before joining up with Millwall in January 2026 amid financial difficulties at Hillsborough.
However, his love for his boyhood club has always remained, with Bannan previously admitting that one of his biggest regrets is that he never got the opportunity to represent the Celtic first team.
