It is no secret that new Inter manager Cristian Chivu wants Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny at the club and negotiations are well underway to make that happen, as per Gazzetta.it. Bonny played under Chivu at Parma last season and it is believed that long term, he could develop into a quality frontman for the Nerrazzuri. The focus presently is to get the deal over the line as quickly as possible. Inter are currently involved in the Club World Cup in the US and there they would have a window between 28th June to 2nd July to make 6 changes to their squad, including bringing in two new signings. This way Bonny could well come in before the quarterfinal stage, provided Inter make it that far. This depends on two things. Firstly, although negotiations are going well, they have to end as fast as possible to give the player the chance to return to match fitness before that period. Secondly, it also depends on Inter’s performances. Inter’s first game in the competition ended in a 1-1 draw against Monterrey. Kaulik Mitra | GIFN
