Leicester City prepare for a trip to West Bromwich Albion this Friday, and Marti Cifuentes will love the level of backing.
Leicester City's Championship campaign has been a mixed bag so far, with three wins, two draws and a defeat leaving them fourth in the table after six matches.
New boss Marti Cifuentes was brought in over the summer with one clear objective - to guide the Foxes back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
And he will be delighted with the level of backing his side will receive for their next challenge under the lights against West Brom on Friday.
Leicester confirmed on the official club website that the full away allocation for Friday's fixture at The Hawthorns has sold out.
2,542 fans will pack out half of the Smethwick End as Cifuentes' side make the short trip across the Midlands.
Away days have not been straightforward so far this season for Leicester, though, with just one win on the road — a narrow 1-0 victory at Charlton.
However, as expected, the Foxes will continue to travel in numbers, and they will hope to be sent home happy and with three points in the bag on Friday.
After Leicester limped towards relegation last season, they are aiming for an immediate return to the Premier League. However, successive draws against Oxford United and Coventry City mean that the Foxes need a win to start building some potential promotion-winning form.
Supporters will hope that Abdul Fatawu is on form, with his stunning goal against Charlton being the difference in their only win on the road thus far.
West Brom themselves have promotion ambitions. However, they have struggled at home since their opening day win against Blackburn.
Summer signing Aune Heggebø has impressed up top with his overall presence, while midfielder Isaac Price has been a revelation for the Baggies with three goals and one assist across the opening six matches.
In their following two matches on home soil, they picked up a 1-1 draw against Portsmouth before Derby County completed a fantastic smash and grab, with Andi Weimann stealing all three points late on for the Rams.
Ahead of Friday's clash, both sides have the chance to lay down a marker in the promotion race. With Championship leaders Middlesbrough set for difficult clashes against Southampton and Stoke, victory for either side on Friday could claw back some ground on the top spots.
